I'm Loren Wheeler, an Oregon-based Director of Photography and filmmaker with over a decade of experience across documentary, narrative, commercial, and music video work. Through my production company LEW Media, I bring a grounded visual sensibility to projects spanning intimate short films and feature-length documentaries to international music videos and branded content. My documentary work includes Horn Maker, a feature documentary in production since 2018, and Saving Ganesh (2015), which I also fimed. My music video credits span artists including Yaima — shot on location in Bali — and Mia Maestro, with work extending from direction through production and editorial. My three-part Sacred Pathways series documents traditional craftspeople in Chincheros, Peru. I approach each project with close collaborative attention, frequently taking on layered roles across cinematography, editing, and production. I'm currently in production on MÄS (2025), a documentary I'm directing and shooting.
