I have a masters in fine arts in creative writing from Oregon State University, where I taught writing for 18 years. More recently, I earned a masters of social work from Western New Mexico University and have been working in mental and behavioral health in K-5 schools since 2020. 

I wrote a screenplay for my MFA masters thesis, and recently completed a screenplay for a rom-com jukebox musical. I continue to write and develop other ideas for short and feature films.
